ART BACKGROUND...
Pursuing a scientific career left little time for artistic ambitions until a sojourn to the Middle East (1996 – 2002). There Marsha enrolled in oil painting classes taught by British artists in the Safyia bin Zager Gallery, Jeddah, KSA. Lessons kindled a flame to study additional art techniques. Subsequently Marsha has taken workshops and classes in Bath, U.K. and Victoria, B.C. in sculpture, drawing, and figurative painting.
Recently, Marsha has turned her attention to creating works to reflect awareness of world issues: war, peace advocacy, global warming, pollution and saving natural resources. She has embraced the use of diverse materials to achieve her artistic expressions.
